Finally, an AI Estimator That Uses Real Costs — Not Made-Up Ones.

Today we're taking our first look at Clear Estimate's new AI Scope Assistant. This is an AI powered project builder and it's designed to save you hours on estimates and help you qualify leads fast. Instead of building your estimates manually, just give the scope assistant a detailed project description. It will match your job to real project data and the same up to date library of cost items you already trust to assemble a preliminary estimate in minutes. From there, you have the same control to revise, edit, and finalize your proposal exactly as you normally would. Think of this as your personal first draft estimator, taking you from a blank page to ninety percent finished in just minutes. So let's see how it works. So the first step is to click New Project right here on my homepage. From here we can choose a customer, or we can create a new customer. Then we'll want to give our project a title. From here we'll input a detailed project description including exact measurements and quantities. For example, full kitchen remodel, including new countertops, backsplash, economy appliances, and all new cabinets. The kitchen is about two twenty square feet. Then I need to replace the hardwood in the living room about four hundred square feet. From here, we can click next. And now we can choose to start with AI. We can start by manually selecting templates, or we can start with a blank project like before. If we click start with AI, it begins matching our job to our same library of remodeling costs and millions of customer projects to assemble our estimate. Keep in mind, this process can take up to two minutes to complete. Now remember, this will match to Clear Estimate's default part library, the same items, costs, descriptions you already use. If you've modified some of our parts, it will use your modified versions instead, and you can always adjust item settings in the next step. So now we can review the results. We can see it's created two project sections, one for a kitchen remodel and a second for living room flooring replacement. Now from here I can adjust individual item quantities from the quantity column. And I can also uncheck any parts I don't need using the check boxes here on the left side. We'll be able to edit costs, descriptions, markups, or add new parts and templates in the next step. So now I'll click create project. And this will pull all of that same data into our project where we can continue to adjust costs, descriptions, we'll be able to adjust markup, or add more parts and templates. So you can see how quickly we were able to start this project and we can spend our time fine tuning our final proposal. Now this is a brand new release and we'll be continuing to make improvements.
